Joel Flatt, President and CEO and Todd Parsons, COO of Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp., were thrilled to win EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2014 for the Food and Hospitality Division in the Ontario Region. It is the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs being the first and truly global award of its kind. Competition was extremely stiff with over 2000 applicants nominated which made the win even the more humbling.
Colleen McMorrow, EY partner and National Entrepreneur of the Year Program Director, identified five traits that set entrepreneurial stars apart: fearlessness, passion, never give up, fail fast and learn, and a collaborative style. Joel and Todd believe these traits are embodied in Give and Go’s employees and have fostered a “can-do” attitude which has become the backbone of the company’s incredible success. While Joel and Todd accepted the award, it is one that belongs to the entire Give and Go team and embodies the Give and Go vision: Great People, Baking Great Products for a Great Future!
